SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. System settings -> Input devices -> Touchpad -> [scrolling] "invert scroll direction" unselect
2.  Update sytem, including kde

OBSERVED RESULT
The "invert scroll direction" are still unselected but with the behavior of selected.
Then it's necessary to select, unselect, apply to return to normal.


EXPECTED RESULT
That settings do not change in updates

Linux/KDE Plasma: 
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10

Are you using Plasma from git master, or 5.27.8? The bug report says both. :)

Because if you're using git master, this is fixed with https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/commit/0d59c07717c640382a1b35dcdf7e9189b2cbe57f.

I'm installing directly from Pacman on Garuda Linux: plasma-desktop-5.27.8-1
