Description Melchior Franz 2002-09-02 16:37:48 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: knode
Severity: wishlist
Version: 0.7.1 (KDE 3.0.7 (KDE 3.1 beta 1)) (compiled sources)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
KDE: 3.0.7 CVS HEAD from 2002-08-30 (compiled sources)
Qt: 3.0.6 CVS HEAD from 2002-08-30 (compiled sources)

A feature that I'm badly missing from the Netscape navigator is "Save thread".
I'm still having an expensive dial-up connection and sometimes I would like to save
a whole thread into a file and read it offline so I don't have to download each
message separately. Not only is there no action to save a whole thread now it is
even impossible to select all messages in a thread and call the "save" action on
it: This only saves one message the first selected one! Sheesh.

Please please. :-)

I too would like such a feature: it's easier to have all the articles (selection or thread) dumped into one file or several files created based on (subject)n.articles, where n would be some incremental number to distinguish articles in the same thread.

I second (third ?) you on this...
This is a feature really missing...

Together with saving a whole Thread, it should be possible to print a whole thread. Reading a big thread offline is sometimes much more comfortable.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
