if it is possible than i would read the news offline.
now if the isdn-device is down i can't read the articles.

a good feature imho is to save the hole thread in one text-file.
like the following:

thread title
 - from / date
 - subject
 - article body
     posting
      - from / date
      - subject
      - article body

the file could be a html-file witch has the layout of the threds.
that means that i could recognize witch answer belongs to witch question.

this file has the big advantage that i could see the hole thread in one look.
