On Wayland, swiping up with four fingers on the touchpad opens the desktop grid instead of the (newer and more functional) overview.  

Opening the overview with this gesture would be far more useful, and also more consistent with the touchscreen three-finger-swipe-up gesture, which opens the overview.  

There is also no way of changing this or any of the other gestures as far as I can tell.
