Description Ellie 2023-07-12 18:34:53 UTC
SUMMARY
***
Any downloader of non-trivial amounts should probably have some way of download resumption after internet hiccups and discover seems to have none, which I do find a little shocking since it's meant for bigger pieces of software. Or if there is meant to be one it doesn't seem to work for me, I just pressed "Install" and then went to do something else and when I returned wifi seems to have been interrupted and the whole UI acted like nothing ever happened. Most importantly on pressing "Install" again it just starts at 0% like I never did this before, and it definitely had gotten past 0%.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. "Install" anything in discover
2. Have wifi interrupt
3. Repeat the task

OBSERVED RESULT
download isn't resumed, starts over

EXPECTED RESULT
download is resumed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Bug Janitor Service 2023-07-12 19:33:45 UTC
Thank you for the bug report!

Please note that Plasma 5.26.1 will not be supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer.

Please upgrade to the latest version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.
