STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Digikam. Set Miniature view. Double click on a picture which is not near the top to enter Preview Mode
2. Edit some metadata. Then click another image on the filmstrip.
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
After Step 1. the filmstrip is not centered on the selected image.
After Step 2. the filmstrip jumps back to another spot.

EXPECTED RESULT
After Step 1. the filmstrip should be centered on the selected image.
After Step 2. the filmstrip should be centered on the selected image.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When the filmstrip jumps back, the correct image is still selected, so a workaround is to use the "<" and ">" buttons below, in the top-left corner of the "Reduced Preview" frame.
