SUMMARY *** I am trying to archive emails via keyboard shortcut and somehow the assigned key works only once. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 0. Set up A folder for Archiving via Settings/Configure Kmail/Accounts/Receiving/Archive Folder 1. Open Settings/Configure Keyboard Shortcuts 2. Filter/Search by "archive" 3. There are two options, "Archive" and "Archive Folder" 4. Select "Archive" 5. Set custom shortcut, I tried several and none worked, but for this example let's use Alt-A 6. Press Ok to save 7. Repeat 1-3 to confirm the setting is still there 8. Navigate to the folder set up for Archiving 9. Hit Alt-A 10. Email under cursor disappears and is moved to Archive location, as expected 11. Hit Alt-A a second time, nothing happens 12. Repeat 1-3 to observe that the shortcut has disappeared I am able to repeat this as often as I want, the shortcut gets deleted after first usage. I also tried the "Archive Folder" option in step 3, in this case the shortcut is not deleted, behaves as expected. EXPECTED RESULT Shortcut is not deleted after first use. I have seen this one here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345992 but wasn't sure if it's ok to bring this 4 year old zombie back to live or if I better start a new. Just noticed that this journalctl error. It shows up once whenever the first (working) Alt-A is hit: kmail[2286]: kf.xmlgui: Index 72 is not within range (0 - 20 )
Ignore the kf.xmlgui comment, Looks to be unrelated as it continues to show no matter if in Kmail
