After updating to the latest NVIDIA driver last Dec 01, the GPU activity + temps stopped appearing on KDE's system monitor and on plasma widgets. There are no crash logs. However, GPU activity + temps are still viewable on the terminal using nvtop, btop, glances, etc. I've tried downgrading plasma-systemmonitor, but I had the same issue. I wanted to try downgrading the GPU driver as well, but it's way too complicated for me, and I'm afraid that I might bork my whole system if I do that, so I've decided not to. Furthermore, I'm not sure if this is an isolated incident, user error, or if it's because of the distro I'm using, but that's the not that important issue I am facing right now. *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Not entirely sure, but you must have all the latest packages 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT As I've said earlier, the GPU activity + temp are not showing up on KDE's system monitor and plasma widgets. EXPECTED RESULT Prior to my system update last Dec 01, everything is working smoothly, I would provide some screenshots of the before and after below.
