Description guimarcalsilva 2022-11-16 20:00:59 UTC
SUMMARY

On Wayland, deleting the panel and restoring it from the notification places it in the center of the screen. (Tested on Neon Unstable and also Plasma 5.26.3 stable, happens on both).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
(Tested on a horizontal panel)
1. Right-click the panel and enter Edit Mode
2. Click on More Options
3. Click on Remove Panel
4. When the notification shows up, click Undo

OBSERVED RESULT

The panel is restored to the center of the screen until plasmashell is restarted.

EXPECTED RESULT

It should work as in X11, where the panel is restored to the place it was before it was deleted.
