SUMMARY Enabling vertical virtual desktops will show all desktops as horizontal in the overview, this would be fine except i can't then scroll between them horizontally using the three finger gesture. This is mostly usable for a simple 2x2 matrix but any configuration more complicated like that and it will cause issues. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable overview if not already enabled 2. Enable vertical virtual desktops, possibly make a more complex configuration too. Like 3 desktops on top and 2 on the bottom. 3. Open overview with meta+w or using the 4 finger gesture 4. use the horizontal 3 finger gesture to scroll between them. OBSERVED RESULT You will not be able to scroll between these desktops, you will need to use the vertical three finger swipe which causes a disconnect between what you see at the time and how the virtual desktops behave EXPECTED RESULT You should be able to scroll through the desktops horizontally the way they are layed out you while using the overview.
