SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** The new overview effect has no option to only display windows from the current activity, defeating the purpose of activities in organizing windows. I think there should be a toggle in its config dialog to only show the current activity, and it should be on by default. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have multiple activities, with different favourite apps and some window rules that auto-categorize app windows into activities, and open some windows in at least two of them 2. Open the new Overview effect OBSERVED RESULT All windows on the current workspace are shown, regardless of which activity they come from. For example when the first workspace is selected, the first workspace of all activities is mixed together in the overview. EXPECTED RESULT Overview should only show windows from the current activity, in order not to awkwardly circumvent the window organizing feature of activities, possibly making the user think their activities got messed up SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kernel 5.18.19 (Manjaro, Stable branch) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
