SUMMARY
Something that's been bothering me for a while is that when I choose to select and extract specific folders/files, it also extracts the parent folders along with them. This is particularly annoying when I need a specific file structure for something to work: for example adding a plugin to a certain program.

It may be suggested to disable "Preserve paths when extracting", but this ruins the structure of folders I've decided to extract.

Let's look at this folder structure within a zip:
- folder1
-> folder2
-->folder3*
-->file1*

There is currently no way to quickly extract only folder3 + file1, without ark also extracting their parents folder1 and folder2, despite the fact that I did not select them.
