Description Petr N. 2022-05-25 17:12:25 UTC
SUMMARY

I select "sub-folder" to extract, right click and select /my/destination/path/ destination and result is
/my/destination/path/archive/sub1/sub2/sub3/folder
instead of:
/my/destination/path/sub-folder

I think that this should not happen by default.
When i do it via Extract button instead, then the extraction has options:
Extraction into subfolder
Preserve paths when extracting

i have tried both, but it always end up creating /my/destination/path/archive/sub1/sub2/sub3/sub-folder

Solution: 1) by default extract folder alone instead of creating multiple levels of parent folders, 2) user have to check the checkbox to preserve full path if he want to.

Issue is explained also here: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=174145

This is only annoying/non practical thing i have found in Ark so far.
