SUMMARY If I have n columns of virtual desktops, in the Desktop Grid I will always have the first n-1 columns being buggy. By "buggy" I mean that: - windows in the secondary display appear in the primary display (or in both, if the window is in the last column) - all the windows in the secondary display are invisible unless i invisibly click on the corresponding window frame - sometimes windows from the first display are not movable in the second display (as if i was dragging them in an empty space) - the wallpaper of the secondary display is replaced with the one from the primary display - etc... (probably there are more bugs i can't remember now) You can properly see this weird behaviour in the attached video. Mind you that I recorded both screens and the centre of the video should correspond to the border between displays STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. have multiple displays 2. enable desktop grid effect 3. open the desktop grid with the shortcut OBSERVED RESULT see wallpapers are mismatched between displays (+ other bugs) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.97.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6
I could not attach the video to the bug report because of the size. Here is an external link to it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dVfOcKoDC8ZGU4pM7SnDO_cIBYSBn5mT/view?usp=sharing
it seems like this bug is ~similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=455897
Can you check to see if this is still an issue in Plasma 6? Thanks a lot!
