SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a stamp with an empty background with the "Preserve alpha channel" option on. 2. Select a brush's "Brush tip" as predefined, select the stamp and save the brush. 3. Restart Krita. 4. Try to use the brush. OBSERVED RESULT The brush will not do anything unless a previous brush has been selected that does not have a brush tip with alpha preservation on, in which it will act as that brush. Right clicking or selecting the brush through the brush editor will still show as the previously selected brush. EXPECTED RESULT The brush works like any other brush, just with the stamp in use. Hey, I can't seem to reproduce this with the Krita Version: 5.2.0-prealpha (git 5c98a72) Appimage with Qt 5.15.7 I'm doing the following: 1. Create brush tip as per reproduction steps. 2. Select a brush preset with a lightness brush tip (that is, brush tip with transparency instead of B&W), so that this will be selected when restarting. 3. Restart Krita. 4. Select the new brush tip. Is this still happening for you?
