Created attachment 151229 [details] Artifacts on blurred surfaces with nVidia on Wayland SUMMARY With enabled blur effect and when ever the cursor moves across a blurred surface it leaves squared trails of it's path. As soon as the blurred component receives a full redraw the blur gets normal again. Like moving the window or hovering an item in the start menu. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run Plasma in Wayland mode on nVidia 2. Move cursor across any blurred surface 3. Artifacts remain till the next full redraw. OBSERVED RESULT Artifacts left on blurred surfaces EXPECTED RESULT No artifacts on blurred surfaces as with X11 SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220809 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Kernel Version: 5.18.15-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Processor Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080/PCIe/SSE2 Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
