SUMMARY

Hovering the mouse over any application in the icon task manger should show a preview of the opened application windows. For me this is no longer the case, please see the screenshot.

Reopen, because the other bug report was about X11, this issue here is on Wayland and it's not fixed in 5.96 as claimed in bug #455231.

Ok thanks for correction.

But even it is in wayland, would not be better to reopen the original
ticket and tell them that the issue is still present in Wayland?

X11 and Wayland use different code paths, so it's quite possible for it to be broken on Wayland and now X11, and for the brokenness to have a different root cause. So I think it's appropriate for this bug report to remain open without re-opening the one about X11.
