Created attachment 150181 [details] Dolphin terminal panel warning message SUMMARY *** Following the upgrade to Plasma 5.25 the Terminal panel in Dolphin no longer displays the background color transparency although it has been set in the current profile and effective in Konsole window. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Konsole > Settings > Edit Current Profile... > Appearance > Edit > Background color transparency: 50% 2. Dolphin > F4 OBSERVED RESULT Dolphin's terminal panel has no background color transparency, and if you right click in terminal panel, and select "Edit Current Profile..." and then "Appearance", an odd warning message appears as shown in the screenshot attached. EXPECTED RESULT Dolphin's terminal panel should have the same settings as in a regular Konsole window. Having the same issue, and also with Konsole itself. The transparency setting is not saved. Konsole version 22.08.1 KDE version 5.25.5 on Arch Linux

I don't have it with version 22.08.0 in KDE neon 5.25.5. Indeed I'm beginning to suspect that Dolphin developers might have decided to apply Dolphin-specific appearance settings to all panels, including the terminal panel, instead of applying Konsole's appearance settings inside Dolphin window.
