Prior to the reimplementation with 5.25, you could use your hot corners to activate Present Windows even in full screen programs like mpv and VLC. Now, the corner doesn’t activate the effect whilst you are in a full screen program like a video player or browser. It albeit works via key shortcut. EXPECTED RESULT Initiating Present Windows out of full screen programs using the hot corners should work too like before. KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5
This doesn't have anything to do with the Present Windows effect per se, and you'll notice this it applies to all effects, and to window edges too, not just corners. We made the deliberate decision to block these by default in fullscreen apps, as they are very disruptive in fullscreen games, and we don't have a way to distinguish between a fullscreen game and a fullscreen productivity app If you don't play any fullscreen games or want the old behavior back, you can do it in System Settings > Workspace Behavior > Screen Edges > check the checkbox marked "Remain active when windows are fullscreen". *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 455490 ***
OK.
