SUMMARY Gwenview doesn't update the color of folders when Plasma's accent color changes Now that Plasma offers the possibility of changing the accent colors based on the wallpaper, and the wallpaper can automatically change, this bug will become more visible to users. PS: This seems to affect multiple apps, so this might need to be resolved somewhere else(?) (Refer to bug 446307) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Gwenview 2. Change accent color in System Settings OBSERVED RESULT Folders in the main view do not get updated with the new color. The ones on the sidebar do. EXPECTED RESULT All folders should have their colors updated SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.4 Kernel Version: 5.13.0-44-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 6 × Intel® Core™ i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz Memory: 7,6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Radeon RX 570 Series
Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0 (the latest released version)?

Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview > 25.08.0 (the latest released version)? I can confirm it still happens on 25.08.0 on Fedora 42. Gwenview needs to be relaunched before the accent color gets applied to folders.
