SUMMARY The Weather Report applet in the System Tray displays its temperature over other icons in the panel, making it unreadable (https://i.imgur.com/X1GfkYi.png). When using a separate weather widget it displays correctly. This seems to affect X11 and Wayland. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add weather to System Tray 2. Under Weather Report's "Appearance" settings, enable the Temperature setting for "Show beside widget icon" 3. The text for the temperature appears over the system tray icons OBSERVED RESULT Temperature beside Weather Report displays over other tray icons and cannot be read clearly. EXPECTED RESULT Temperature should display the same way it does when added to the panel as a separate widget, or this setting should be disabled for the Weather Report option in the System Tray. Interesting, for me the "Show temperature" checkbox does nothing at all. I'm on current git master, but I don't recall any recent changes to the weather applet.

It seems to depend on what weather station you're using to display the weather. That's likely a separate issue and I thought I saw it tracked somewhere else while looking around before filing this bug report. But I can't find it now ☹️ It may be worth checking other weather stations to confirm though. I'm using BBC Weather.
Can reproduce with BBC weather.
