I have set all my windows to open by default maximized. 

Both Spectacle (I dont care) and the Annotation feature, backed by KSnip or KImageeditor are not following this, similar as the KDE file dialog. 

When editing a picture, the small window that is provided by default, is not enough, and I always need to manually maximize the window.
