Description Riccardo Robecchi 2022-03-28 16:09:09 UTC
SUMMARY
I have two displays, the laptop's and an external one, and there is a Plasma panel on each. Each panel has its own copy of the disks & devices widget, placed directly on the panel (so not in the system tray area). The one on the external display always says that there are "no disks available" after Plasma loads, even when there are. In order for it to start working, I have to manually restart Plasma.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have two panels, with a widget on each.
2. Log in to Plasma.
3. Open the widget.

OBSERVED RESULT
The widget says there are no disks available.

EXPECTED RESULT
The widget reports the correct information on available disks.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: KDE neon
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
