SUMMARY KDenlive crashes when I render a video. This happens both for MP4 and WebM. It seems to render the video alright, but crashes with the following output: x265 [info]: HEVC encoder version 3.4 x265 [info]: build info [Windows][GCC 8.1.0][64 bit] 8bit x265 [info]: using cpu capabilities: MMX2 SSE2Fast LZCNT SSSE3 SSE4.2 AVX FMA3 BMI2 AVX2 x265 [info]: Main profile, Level-5 (Main tier) x265 [info]: Thread pool created using 32 threads x265 [info]: Slices : 1 x265 [info]: frame threads / pool features : 6 / wpp(34 rows) x265 [info]: Coding QT: max CU size, min CU size : 64 / 8 x265 [info]: Residual QT: max TU size, max depth : 32 / 1 inter / 1 intra x265 [info]: ME / range / subpel / merge : hex / 57 / 2 / 2 x265 [info]: Keyframe min / max / scenecut / bias : 25 / 250 / 40 / 5.00 x265 [info]: Lookahead / bframes / badapt : 15 / 4 / 0 x265 [info]: b-pyramid / weightp / weightb : 1 / 1 / 0 x265 [info]: References / ref-limit cu / depth : 2 / on / on x265 [info]: AQ: mode / str / qg-size / cu-tree : 2 / 1.0 / 32 / 1 x265 [info]: Rate Control / qCompress : CRF-23.0 / 0.60 x265 [info]: tools: rd=2 psy-rd=2.00 early-skip rskip mode=1 signhide tmvp x265 [info]: tools: fast-intra strong-intra-smoothing lslices=8 deblock sao [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000000169de440] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000000169de440] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0000000016c6b100] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0000000016c6b100] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0000000016d6f740] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0000000016d6f740] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000000ff4e5140] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000000ff4e5140] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes Current Frame: 6561, percentage: 48 [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000007235ef40] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000007235ef40] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000000c67ebec0] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000000c67ebec0] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000001157aff00] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 00000001157aff00] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000011567d600] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000011567d600] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000011567e900] overread end of atom '[169]mak' by 2 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000011567e900] overread end of atom '[169]swr' by 3 bytes [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 000000007235ef40] Packet corrupt (stream = 0, dts = 1529896). It does not crash under Ubuntu with version 21.12.1 and I did not crash previously with Windows and version 21.04.2 for the exact same render, so I am unsure, why this happens. Your log show x265 rendering. Does this happen if you render with x264 as well?
Rendered in h264, it also crashes. Now it does actually render the video export without any issues with it. But I get a crash report every single time.
