Description guimarcalsilva 2022-03-02 01:03:13 UTC
SUMMARY

After the tooltip appears, if you right-click in some widgets, the context menu disappears as soon as the tooltip fades away. Here are the affected widgets:

Activity Pager
Activity Manager
Trash
Lock/Logout
Minimize All Windows
Show Desktop
Quick Share
Quicklaunch
Pager

Looks very similar to this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417939

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add one of the widgets above to the desktop (not a panel)
2. Hover the mouse until the tooltip appears
3. Right-click

OBSERVED RESULT

Context menu closes itself when the tooltip disappears

EXPECTED RESULT

It should do the same that happens with the other widgets: Right-clicking closes the tooltip first and then shows the context menu.

Can reproduce. Don't know if there is any duplicate reports.
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2022-03-26 02:21:30 UTC
It's an upstream Qt issue. See Bug 427542.
