I tried: - Online Resources: Freesound - Search for something (e.g. Vélo) - Select first result - Click on Preview => kdenlive is crashing Output in konsole: https protocol not found, recompile FFmpeg with openssl, gnutls or securetransport enabled. https protocol not found, recompile FFmpeg with openssl, gnutls or securetransport enabled. /tmp/.mount_kdenliz96jEP/AppRun: line 42: 24537 Segmentation fault kdenlive --config kdenlive-appimagerc $@
Seems to be simlar to: bug 450133 Please test with the master build to check if this is a packaging issue: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ or with the new craft build: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Stable_appimage-centos7/
Works again (tested with first link), thank you.
Thank you for the feedback and contribution. Glad to hear it works. I close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.
I'm now experiencing this issue across several AppImages. I've tested it in the stable release 22.04 as well as 21.12.-3, 21.12-2 all Appimages. It was last working for me a few weeks ago in 22.12-2, and I'm not sure why it has stopped working. It's possible it is something local to my system though. Is there a file I could delete or a cache to wipe?
Delete ~/.config/kdenlive-appimagerc.
(In reply to emohr from comment #5) > Delete ~/.config/kdenlive-appimagerc. Deleted it, but no effect. Didn't seem to even be using that config because the modified date for it is from 2020.
Mmh. Try help -> Reset Configuration.
Can you please try latest appimage version?
