Description inverged 2022-02-13 08:26:14 UTC
SUMMARY
In the 21.12.2 AppImage release when clicking on the "Download New Wipes" button nothing appears to happen.
For a few seconds it won't let me switch between the adjacent buttons/tabs(Show Transitions Only, Main Compositors, Favorited Items) almost like a hang, but I can resume playing clips or do any other functions.
In the end the dialogue never opens.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click the Download New Wipes button
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Possible hang, but nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The Downloadable Content dialogue/window should open.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Ubuntu 18.04 Gnome 3.28
AppImage for 21.12.2

Please test with the master build to check if this is a packaging issue: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ or with the new craft build: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Stable_appimage-centos7/

Downloaded and ran the AppImage you linked, and it works there. Thank you for your time.
I'm marking as RESOLVED/UPSTREAM. I THINK that's the right status? If not I assume you can change it to the proper labeling.

Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear that the AppImage are working. Both are now packed by craft and that means they included all dependencies. So upstream is correct.
