SUMMARY
There is no "system notification volume" setting.

Search for the word "notifications" in the settings to find the item "sound devices". But there is no notification volume setting in it.

Does it show up as expected in the "PulseAudio Volume Control" app?

I don't know how to open "PulseAudio Volume Control" app. How do I do this? Some update was downloaded and the option appeared.

It's a 3rd-party app. Can you install it and see if notification sounds are configurable there?
