STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Cursors KCM
2. click on 'Get new cursors...' button
3. install any cursor theme
4. hover over installed cursor theme and click on its 'Use' button

OBSERVED RESULT
error message seen in the attached screenshot

EXPECTED RESULT
cursor theme is applied without any error

This bug also affects Color schemes and Global Themes.

This also affects the normal KCM saving, but there we do not display the error message.

error when applying global theme

I'm unable to reproduce with Cursors and Colors KCMs. But the error message persists when I apply Mondrian Dark global theme via GHNS window.

KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.80

On Plasma 6, nothing happens after the provided steps.
