> X11, with 112.5% scaling and custom fonts (Noto Sans SemiCondensed) Well, that's probably the issue.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > > X11, with 112.5% scaling and custom fonts (Noto Sans SemiCondensed) > Well, that's probably the issue. Every other section is fine, though. It appears to be just the 'Applications' section that's blurred with my custom font/scaling.
There's an option on columns to remove the margins, to allow the tables to stretch the full area of the card. This renders the face to a texture so that the corners that would otherwise peek outside the card can be cut off. This probably ends up rendering the face at some non-integer position when used with fractional scaling, causing the blurriness you see. I don't have an immediate solution, but maybe you can confirm that's what's happening?

I don't have > an immediate solution, but maybe you can confirm that's what's happening? No, this is on a fresh install of the app, and I didn't change any settings. I can still see the 'Remove Background Margins' option in edit mode, so I don't think it was enabled by default either.
Since this is a rather old report and I cannot reproduce it, I'm going to close this as fixed. If it still happens, please reopen.
This bug occurs on 6.4.2 also. The same fix (toggling the margins) seems to make the section be not blurry. Scaling is set to 125%, Inter font. Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.4-arch2-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (30,6 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 20UD0009US System Version: ThinkPad T14 Gen 1
I am also seeing this issue on my Framework 13 with its 13.5 inch 2256x1504 screen, I tried 125%, 150% and 156.667% (188/120, for a scaled resolution of 1440x960) and all of them show the same blurriness, unless I disable the remove margins option for that section. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.16.1-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 14 × Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 125H Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (30.8 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: Intel® Arc Manufacturer: Framework Product Name: Laptop 13 (Intel Core Ultra Series 1) System Version: A2
Reproducible in 6.4.4 on Fedora 42 (Wayland). Operating System: Fedora Linux 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.16.7-200.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (31.3 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER

Created attachment 185126 [details] Issue on git master Can confirm on git master as well. Looks like that old weird pixelated text rendering bug again too perhaps? > There's an option on columns to remove the margins, to allow the tables to stretch the full area of the card. This renders the face to a texture so that the corners that would otherwise peek outside the card can be cut off. Hmm, I also notice the left edge can get a jumpy extra 1px when horizontally resizing the system monitor window. And not sure if related but this stretches the columns' widths too, so the scrollbar can't go away fully to see all columns at once.

Since the smooth property is intended to indicate such a preference, make use of it to override the texture filtering mode. Created attachment 185411 [details] Resizing system monitor Nice, thanks! The blur is indeed gone. The text can still be pixelated at certain widths though, video attached.
The text is still pixelated in git master (video in previous comment). Shall we reopen, or make new bug report?

Folks are still reporting the exact same issue in versions later than 6.4.6; re-opening. :( Of note, I can no longer reproduce the issue myself on curent git master. Can anyone else reproduce it on a git master version of System Monitor, if they have the ability to test that (either using distro packages, or by compiling it themselves)?

I can. Looks as garbled as on my own bug report. [Picture taken right now](https://imgur.com/a/py83Gdo) Arch Linux Plasma 6.5.4 System Monitor - latest git as of now 2560x1440 @ 150% scale The blurriness of the text makes it look like it was raster-rendered at a lower size (the 100%) and then it was crudely upscaled from that low resolution graphic to match the 150% scale factor. Which also can explain why the "Configurar columnas" text in my screenshot looks like it was cut at top and bottom, because the actual rendering area might still be taking the area of that 100% resolution graphic but still tries hard to fit on the higher scale factor. Though all of these hypotheses don't explain at all why the characters of the table column and the borders are misaligned. Look at the "Memoria, Descarga and Envío" columns and zoom in to see it more closely.
Yes, I see this on git master everything (my video in comment 21 still matches what I see). Weird that not everyone see it though, huh. Note I think the original issue (blur) is indeed gone, but when the blur was fixed it became garbled/pixelated, yeah.
