Description audun 2021-09-12 16:11:37 UTC
SUMMARY

Sometimes I accidentally open the partition manager, and noticed I have to authenticate with my super long password to be able to close it again.

Would be really nice to be able to cancel authentication without typing the password so i can quickly close it and get on with what I was doing.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open partitionmanager and wait for polkit authentication
2. Press cancel instead of authenticating
3. Repeat step 2

OBSERVED RESULT

Pressing cancel will repeat the authentication attempt seemingly forever

EXPECTED RESULT

Pressing cancel would either show the UI read/only or just pop up a dialog saying something along the lines of "you have to authenticate to use this program, press cancel again to exit"
