Description smit 2021-08-05 04:47:47 UTC
SUMMARY

When I connect the external monitor to the laptop and power on laptop with its lid closed and start plasma. it shows black screen on startup. I can't right click on it. Wallpaper is not shown. latte-dock crashes sometimes. but everything else seems to works. I can start konsole, Firefox ..etc from krunner. I have to restart plasmashell with command `killall plasmashell && plasmashell`. Sometimes nothing opens up and I have to open laptop lid to be able to open konsole and restart plasmashell

Sounds like plasma crashed. Can you get a backtrace for `plasmashell`? See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports.
