Description Phos 2021-07-18 10:59:54 UTC
SUMMARY
One of the nicer features of Redshift is its ability to set the "brightness" in software, thus allowing the "brightness" to go lower than what is possible with the current "Battery and Brightness" plasmoid.

Example:
1. Set display brightness to 0% with the "Battery and Brightness" plasmoid.
2. exectute xrandr --output "name of your display" --brightness 0.5
3. Display becomes dimmer
