Did you by any chance happen to try out the Wayland session and then switch back to X11? If so, this is Bug 429057.

Does it happen with Breeze Light?

I only use X11, I used 5.22 with X11 then after upgrading I got 5.22.3, to see clearly the problem try to disable "Blur" and "Background Constrast" effects and set your desktop background to pure white, the problem is more visible with Breeze light theme.

Cannot reproduce at 200% scale on X11 with the Blur and Background Contrast effects disabled.

To check if it is a cache problem, can you see if it goes away if you delete the Plasma SVG cache and restart plasmashell using `rm ~/.cache/plasma* ; plasmashell --replace`?

I cleared the content of "~/.cache" then run "plasmashell --replace" but the same problem remains.

Darn. No idea, then. :( Niccolò, could this be an SVG issue in the theme files?
Comment 7 Nate Graham 2021-10-01 16:25:36 UTC
Still cannot reproduce with either X11 or Wayland. Are you still seeing this in the Plasma 5.23 beta?
