Description Michael D. 2021-06-20 10:07:40 UTC
SUMMARY

When starting apps they appear on one of the active monitors and in addition as icon in the window list of the control list (whereever a control list appears).

Often however, for environmental power saving reasons, I need only one monitor, the other is physically switched off, but active for KDE. Often it happens that the started app comes up on the monitor which is switched off. To get it back to the other (currently switched on) monitor I need to power on the monitor and move the window to the other screen. This I would like to avoid.

Proposal: Add a new entry to the context menu of the app-icon, which appears in the window list of the control list. Using this new context-menu-entry I can move the app-window to any of the active monitors.

Currently I'm using KDE-Plasma Version 5.14.5, Framework Version 5.54.0, Qt-Version 5.11.3

Sorry if this is wrong way or place of placing a feature request. If so, I apologize and ask to move it to a correct place.

Let me say that KDE is a great software and I appreciate a lot what you all are doing!
Thanks, Michael
