Created attachment 137519 [details] screenshot of second error SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Upgrade from 7.1.0 to 7.2.0 2. Run digiKam, Download required files window appears and says for the face engine and red eye removal tool, digikam needs some large binary files. Some of the files were not found and are now being downloaded....Face detection will not work without these files. Files will be downloaded to C:\Users\Andrew\Roaming\digikam\facesengine. When attempting to download shapepredictor.dat a new window opens that says an error occurred during the download. File: shapepredictor.dat Connection timed out The download will continue at the next start The error occurs each time the program is restarted. OBSERVED RESULT Download fails EXPECTED RESULT Download should succeed SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042 Build 19042 Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION After 3-4 download attempts the shapepredictor.dat file finally downloaded, then it failed on file: deploy.prototxt with error: Connection refused. See image attached. The first error looked exactly the same as the second, attached image, with the exception of the filename being shapepredictor.dat instead of deploy.prototxt and the error being connection timed out instead of connection refused. I was not using a VPN when these errors occurred and my internet seems to be working fine. After 3-4 download attempts the deploy.prototxt file downloaded as well. Then it errored on file: res10_300x300_ssd_iter_140000_fp16.caffemodel with error type: Connection refused. This may be a coincidence but the download seemed to go through when I restarted digiKam but waited a while to click the download button. I noted there were other processes running like "Find new items" and I thought maybe I should give time for the program to stop running other background processes. The download worked right away after waiting a couple minutes after starting digiKam. It then failed on file: yolov3-wider_16000.weights with error: Connection refused. The download worked again after waiting about 1 minute. This file, yolov3-wider_16000.weights, took longer to download. Afterwards it said all files were downloaded successfully. I am very certain that waiting to hit the download button after starting the program prevented the errors and allowed the downloads. Searching for tags seems to be working so I think I am all set but I am still submitting the bug in case there is an issue that needs addressed. Thanks for your hard work.
