Hi developers, thanks for your great contribution to KDE. However it seems that klipper has not improved much for some time, which is a real shame because less advanced desktop environments than KDE have much better clipboard management, especially for those like me who use the clipboard a lot for work ... So as for usability, why not add some new features in KDE Plasma 5’s clipboard manager such as a “Persistent History” for frequently used clips and a “Show in reverse order” like in Parcellite svn? To understand what I mean please take a look here: https://linuxreviews.org/Parcellite" Hoping to see something new in the near future. Have a nice day.
Thanks for the suggestion. The idea of saved text is already tracked with Bug 54212, so let's use this to track the idea of an option to reverse the order. Also... why? What's the advantage of reversing the ordering?

Because if you have a huge clipboard like me, let's say 30 voices, Klipper gets a little cumbersome. In fact, if you copy a note and then go to the Klipper icon in the taskbar to paste it, the oldest clips appear (from bottom to top) closest to the taskbar and the position of the mouse, having to scroll each time. I know, ctrl + v pastes the last clip, but the problem arises when you have to access the penultimate clip, the third to last and so on ... This is why a "Show in reverse order" option would facilitate and improve the use of Klipper ... Happy Easter
I see, so this is about proximity to the cursor position when using a bottom panel. Note that if we did this, it would make Klipper inconsistent with every other System Tray applet that uses a list. I think the downsides of being strangely inconsistent outweigh the possible advantages of positioning the first item closer to the cursor. Sorry. :)

Just define an option for a certain automatic reordering based on the position of the panel: if at the bottom the reordering occurs in one way, if at the top the opposite and so on if on the right or left. It's a shame that Klipper hasn't evolved like everything else: some features of Parcellite are essential for someone like me who manages tons of files with a file manager every day (especially renaming that can't be automated). However, I hope you implement other functions that I have suggested without having to discard them all for some stance, otherwise, alas, I will be forced to disable Klipper in favor of another clipboard manager. Anyway thanks for your contribution to KDE. Regards.
It is feasible, trivial event, but as mentioned it would be inconsistent. Using another clipboard manager is absolutely fine, it's why ours can be easily disabled.
