Description Sektor van Skijlen 2021-03-22 07:48:17 UTC
SUMMARY
Global Menu widget doesn't take over the application menu when the application is run from the KDE Plasma startup.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. When logged in into KDE, make sure you use Global Menu setting, then run `konsole`
2. Log out
3. Log in again and wait until the KDE startup runs `konsole`
4. Run `konsole` again through either command-line or icon (just not by "New Window" from the existing konsole window)

OBSERVED RESULT
The `konsole` window starts automatically WITH the menu inside the application, despite that KDE is configured for Global Menu. Second `konsole` instance runs correctly, without menu and with its menu displaying in the Global Menu widget.

EXPECTED RESULT
All applications running inside KDE where the Global Menu is configured should run without menu inside the application window and with its menu provided by the Global Menu widget.
