SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro, Kernel 5.11.2 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Are you using X11 or Wayland?
This happens only on wayland.
I've seen it happenin as well, kindof a race condition as we can't set the window type early enough. is the same reason why in plasma mobile sometimes thewindow layer that shows the running tasks gets listed in itself
Cannot reproduce, but it reminds me of Bug 403243. Perhaps they could be somehow related.
It is fixed, this was the problem: Manjaro's plasma-desktop package doesn't include: plasma-wayland-session kwayland-integration plasma-wayland-protocols Missing some of this packages make plasma wayland work but with weird behaviour (the widgets in the taskbar is just one of many).
That would be problematic, yeah. Please do report this to the Manjaro packagers so they can include the necessary packages. Other users using the Plasma Wayland session on Manjaro will benefit as well.
