SUMMARY
On Kubuntu 20.04. Gwenview main menu Plugins >> Install Plugins >> leads to a broken link. Opens in Discover 5.18.5 opens with the message "Sorry... Could not open appstream://org.kde.kipi_plugins

That means your distro either hasn't packaged Kipi Plugins, or else it has packaged them with an appstream ID that isn't "appstream://org.kde.kipi_plugins". Either way, you'll need to report this to your distro. Thanks!~

OMFG sorry, this is actually the bug where the name was misspelled in Gwenview. It had "plguins" and not "plugins". This was fixed in Gwenview 20.08.3.
