Description Artem 2021-01-17 07:07:15 UTC
The functions of adding annotations (some stickers, stamps, etc.) do not work at all.

I click "Save", then: "Save as ocular document archive" - I save.

"After saving, the current document format requires the file to be reloaded. Your undo / redo history will be lost. Do you want to continue?" I choose "Yes". And then: "File could not be saved in C: / Users /.../ AppData / Local / Temp / okular.uuqUnF '. Try to save it to another location."

What can be done? How do I change the save path for this file?

same bug in manjaro kde21. Error: 'Cannot copy file from /tmp/okular.ronEoF to /Desktop/prompt/ Fantastically and Where to Find Them: Overcoming Few-Shot Prompt Order Sensitivity.pdf.part. (Errno: 18)'. Try to save it to another location.

I have moved this to frameworks-kio as it's an IO issue not specifically an Okular one.

I believe https://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,156613.msg1346749.html#msg1346749 is relevant as it describes the same behaviour which has appeared in Linux using an older kernel. The package version, 5.88.0 doesn't match those offered above so I can't Identify the actual version where this began at present. I also do not have easy access to an older kernel for testing.

It looks as if there could be a regression in frameworks-kio which is masked by newer Linux kernels but prevents proper moving of files across file systems with older Linux kernels, as well as Windows and Mac ones. Hope this moves the search on a bit in identifying the problem.

Please ignore my comment about package version. I didn't realise the ones listed were still for Okular.
Comment 7 Albert Astals Cid 2022-01-20 23:16:38 UTC
I doubt it's a KIO bug, bringing back to Okular.

I'm still getting this in 21.12.3 in Kubuntu jammy 22.04. In which release is this fixed ?
Comment 12 Albert Astals Cid 2022-05-31 18:17:25 UTC
This was never an issue in Linux, so you're not getting this issue.

Please create a new one, also maybe you can try okular from flathub to see if the issue you're having anyway has been fixed since your old version https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.kde.okular

OK. It is an issue on Linux because I just got it. I'll create a new issue if necessary when I try your snap suggestion. Cheers.
