SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make new project
2. Insert a subtitle
3. Select the new subtitle in the timeline and hit ctrl+c

OBSERVED RESULT

kdenlive crashes


EXPECTED RESULT

subtitle is copied

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma:

Pop!_OS 20.10
kdenlive installed via ppa

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The new subtitles editing feature in kdenlive is amazing!
but I found out that trying to copy a subtitle crashes the software.

After posting the bug I accidentally found this commit:

So I suppose Jean-Baptiste was already aware of the problem

Thank you for reporting (duplicate of bug 430843). Yes this is fixed with 20.12.1. Copy/paste should be implemented with 20.12.2.

We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.
