- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Syncing th email.
open Kmail open a thread it will say 'Retriving Folder Contents' and will show the mail thread. On clicking another thread it will again say 'Retriving Folder Contents' and if we click the already displayed mailmit will again show 'Retriving Folder .....'. It takes considerable time for retriving the folder contents and some times crashes..

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

when a new mail arrives, KMAIL shows the new mail and the system notification also shows the pop up of new mail, but when we click the new mail in kmail it takes considerable time to retrive the mail(more than a minute).

interesting, the backtrace looks like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=420669, but that is about closing the app
