Works for me. Do you have a very very low value set for DoubleClickInterval in your ~/.config/kdeglobals file? Mine is set to 400 and I can double-click easily.

I added this key. At a value of 400 you have to click very quickly and more than twice to open an item on the desktop. If I change the value to 500, the opening is done normally, but it is in dolphin that the doubleclick speed is no longer suitable. In dolphin a speed of 400 corresponds well to a double click at normal speed.
So you're saying it starts working if you add that key with a value of 500?
Yes, but a value of 500 becomes too high for Dolphin. With a value of 400, I have to click very very fast and more than 2 times to open an item on the desktop. A value of 400 is perfect in Dolphin
The fact that adding that value can make it better makes it seem like somehow the value of DoubleClickInterval is not being read or interpreted correctly in Folder view for you. This is strange. I cannot reproduce your issue with no value in my config file, or with a value of 400 or 500. Not sure how to proceed further.

Yes, I have two screens. Each screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 and is each at 144hz. I have an extended desktop type setup.

Yes. The latest 460 for linux. In 60hz on my screens, I 'have no problem. If I pass one of my screens on 144hz, I've the problem.
