- What I was doing when the application crashed:
fresh reboot, clicked lower-left menu, typed "gnome-terminal" and hit enter to "Run gnome-terminal"

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
crashes four times before giving up.  reproducible after each reboot of my machine.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
