SUMMARY KDE Connect will mirror its own notifications on the desktop. For instance, if I play music, KDE Connect will mirror the media control notification to desktop. This happens with other notifications too like sending files. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Send a file from android to desktop OBSERVED RESULT KDE Connect will mirror its own notification (file sent successfully) on the desktop EXPECTED RESULT KDE Connect won't mirror its own notification (file sent successfully) on the desktop SOFTWARE/OS I tested this with the latest gsconnect, but the developer said it's an upstream issue. Can confirm it's also happening on my setup. I use KDE Neon 20.04 and android 10 with kde connect version 1.15.1, installed through F-Droid
This fixed it for me: Open KDE Connect app on your mobile, go to settings (three dots in upper right corner) -> Plugin settings -> directly tap "Notification sync", which will show you your apps and allows setting for which apps should the notifications be synced/sent to computer -> search for KDE Connect app itself and unselect it Please report if it still happens after this.
Unselecting kde connect on settings works, but maybe it should be unselected by default

Still experiencing this bug with recent versions of KDE Connect on Plasma (Arch) + Android (F-Droid store). When will the fix be in a released version?
My fault, F-Droid did not show me the January release 1.16.0.
