SUMMARY

I see that KRunner has some interesting modules, but it's always been unclear to me how to use them.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Go to System Settings -> Search -> KRunner
2. Look at the modules, dig into them. Each item has an About icon to click on, but doing so doesn't add any explanation of how I interface with it or what the module does.

OBSERVED RESULT

For example, the only hint of how to use the Spell Checker plugin is that I have to click on the Configure gear icon next to its name and figure out that it wants me to type "spell ___" to use it. The usage is buried in configuration. But not all modules have configuration.

Or to use the Unit Converter, which is super handy, there is no education of what I have to type or what are its abilities.

I have Skrooge installed and it installs its own KRunner module. But its About dialog doesn't tell me how to use it. Frustrating.

EXPECTED RESULT

There should be some kind of clear interface that educates me on how to trigger the plugin (if it needs explicit triggering), what kind of inputs its looking for, or add a more fleshed out explanation of its abilities.

For example, with the Unit Converter, to let me know I can type "2kg" or "2cm" or ...
