SUMMARY
Unable to create Google online account for gdrive from Dolphin or from Online Accounts transaction.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install kio-gdrive, open dolphin
2. open Google accounts
3. double-click create google account
4. nothing happens

OBSERVED RESULT
unable to connect to google account

EXPECTED RESULT
access to google drive

I have the same problem. Clicking create google account will just return to previous page to me. I launch systemsettings5 through the terminal and here's the returned output after clicking "google" in "systemsettings5 > Online accounts > add new account":

Tested on latest version of Manjaro.  kio-gdrive works successfully on Manjaro but not on KDE Neon (all updates applied).  I was able to create google account and connect to google drive.
