Description Jim 2020-06-23 01:25:18 UTC
SUMMARY
Sony's popular A series cameras create their jpeg files with a capitalized extension of .JPG. When trying to create a Title Clip using one of these files Kdenlive cannot see them. The fix is to rename the file to .jpg at which point Kdenlive can see and use them.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have or rename a file to <anything>.JPG
2. Project -> Add Title Clip
3. Click the Add Image icon.

OBSERVED RESULT
No images are displayed in a folder containing files with the capitalized ending .JPG.

EXPECTED RESULT
The images should be displayed and usable.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Up to date installation of Arch Linux with Kdenlive installed.

Is this with the KDE or GNOME file selection dialog?

GNOME. My apologies then, I guess the bug isn't in KDE but rather GNOME file section dialog?
