SUMMARY When one changes the default file format, it’s not remembered. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open ‘Settings → Save’. 2. Change the default file format for saving images to JPEG. 3. Edit the file name and press the ‘Apply’ or ‘OK’ button. 4. Quit Spectacle. 5. Launch Spectacle. 6. Go to ‘Settings → Save’. OBSERVED RESULT The default file format is still at the old value (BMP), not JPEG. EXPECTED RESULT The default file format should be kept across Spectacle sessions. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20200517 KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 5.6.12-1-default OS Type: 64-bit
Cannot reproduce. This works fine for me when I follow those instructions.

The default file format is stuck > at BMP (!). By ‘confirm’, I meant ‘reproduce’. The bug is still present.
